The National Association of Civil War Brass Music is a non-profit organization formed to "collect, preserve and make available for research and performance both the music and the instruments of American brass bands of the mid-19th century, particularly military bands and bugles of the American Civil War, and to present such music in public performances for the purpose of educating the general public and furthering public awareness and understanding of this important part of our American cultural heritage."
